Tire industry entrepreneur and above all a passion for engines. Most of the time, thanks to father Angelo, owner of EVEREST SpA, he follows motorsport.

In fact, he was still a child in Monza to see the Grand Prix of Formula 1 and above all a myth for all four wheelers, Jim Clark. He is a boy, but already determined and enterprising, when together with his father he joined Gian Carlo Minardi in the management of the Team Everest, which is highlighted in the minor series and who will later become Enzo Ferrari’s team specialized in management of young Italian talents, and who will get to F1 with a Ferrari directly assigned by the Commendatore; A sort of Junior Team of the Cavallino.

At that time he became friend with the young and promising Elio De Angelis, who’s racing with the team. A tie that goes beyond the races and will be destined to break dramatically in 1986, when the Roman driver will find death at Paul Ricard. Gallignani, following the tragedy of Elio, leaves the racing world.

He would come back several seasons after, having been interested in the FIA ​​GT championship and then in historic motoring and motorcycling, which for years has seen him as protagonist under different perspectives.
